The VT Beef Producers Association is committed to encouraging a humane and productive local beef system, including the infrastructure that supports it.  We do not condone the actions recently discovered at the Grand Isle packing plant, and we feel confident that these incidents are not representative of VT slaughterhouses, or VT beef in general.  As farmers providing healthy, high-quality beef products to our customers,  we are dedicated to making sure that every step along the way maintains the dignity, respect and appreciation that our animals deserve.
