The Vermont Beef Industry Council promotes the consumption of beef and veal through the use of beef check-off dollars. Educational, marketing, promotion and research efforts are designed to insure a strong beef and veal industry.

The UVM Extension system provides technical assistance to producers and consumers. UVM also has several agronomy specialists.
